The four Visegrad countries – Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary – have a large Roma population. At the same time, as in the rest of the world, the situation there is getting worse: increasing racist attacks, smear campaigns against NGOs, and right-wing populist politicians. How is it possible to tell self-determined stories, how do they reach the public and which media are suitable for this?
With:
András Fái (dikh.tv Hungary)
Tereza Heková & Veronika Hlaváčová (romea.cz)
Katalin Gödrös (writer, director and initiator of International Romani Film Commission)
Małgorzata Mirga-Tas & Marcin Tas (Jaw Dikh Poland)
Moderation:
József Rostás (Diverse Youth Network Hungary)
